Bard son of Brand rides south with a host of Beornings at his side to lend aid to Théoden King.
Recur expensive Beorning allies for cheap! After Hirgon quests successfully, a skin-changer can be played for a single resource. Next turn, he can be declared an Honorary Rider of The Rohirrim. Use his ability to get a more expensive Beorning into play. Save the skin-changer using Gamling, and save the title with Bard.
I beat The Road Darkens with a friend of mine using this deck, and it was a ton of fun to play. It consistently had 10+ for questing (admittedly with a couple campaign boons), and was able to defend and attack a couple of times each turn.

Aug 24, 2018That's my biggest fear :n( Even if that particular cheese is invalid though, the deck works pretty well using Gamling to recur Hámas and Westfold Horse-Breakers. If that winds up being the case, I'd probably replace the NaIaS's with some of the Riddermark's Finest, or maybe some Beorn's Rage. |
Hmm. I don't know if your Gamling trick would work. I think he loses the Rohan trait before there's an opening for a response. I may be wrong Either way, cool idea!
