This deck beat Conflict at the Carrock first time through. Lots of card draw and lots of allies in play. Beravor became my primary quester. Glóin became my primary attacker. He actually did not take much damage. Denethor and Henamarth Riversong were key on the first part to pace getting through quest card 1 and avoiding nasty enemies (I discarded a Hill Troll and the Marsh Adder on subsequent turns.). Denethor ended up with Song of Kings and about mid-way though, Steward of Gondor as well. Grimbeorn showed up about the time I passed to quest card 2 and he was key as all 4 trolls engaged me after A Frightened Beast showed up with 3 of the trolls in staging. I also used Miner of the Iron Hills to take a Sacked card off of Gloin towards the end. This deck worked really nicely. I didn't even have to use the Forest Snare I had sitting in my hand.
This deck was inspired by, but purposefully different from, the deck Beorn used to beat this scenario on Beorn's Path.
