I was looking through MotK heroes, and I found Ceorl.
Comparing him to At the End of All Things, he:
- still enables the 2-hero cards (Strider and Vanish from Sight)
- 3 lower threat
- gives a second player a large buff
BUT he:
- does not buff your heroes' stats
- does not give you extra readying
- does not give you tutoring and resources
I was poking around at a hobbit pipes deck that didn't use many resources. While I didn't manage to fit in Vanish from Sight, I did put in a Strider. But mostly, I think this deck doesn't need 3 heroes to do its thing. It doesn't need the resources. It just draws its deck and eats threat.
I might be wrong.
