Trunk & Disorderly: Quick Tactical Guide
Overview
Trunk & Disorderly is a slow-starting, high-impact Ent deck. It's built around Lore/Tactics heroes Treebeard, Quickbeam, and Beravor. Survive early threats, then dominate mid-to-late game.
Single-Player Strategy
Early game (slow start):
- Prioritize early draws like Entmoot and Daeron’s Runes.
- Use Quickbeam's ability (take 1 damage) to quest and attack immediately.
- Leverage Treebeard's ability (take damage to boost stats) to handle critical questing or attacks.
- Forest Snare dangerous enemies ASAP.
Mid-to-late game (power spike):
- Establish healing (e.g., Wellinghall Preserver, Lore of Imladris) to enable hero abilities repeatedly.
- Flood the board with strong Ent allies like Beechbone and Skinbark.
- Use Wingfoot + Beravor for free readying/card draw.
- Infighting can strategically transfer damage to troublesome enemies.
Multiplayer Role
- Ideal as combat or hybrid-support deck.
- Rely on allies to handle initial questing pressure.
- Absorb early attacks with Treebeard and Quickbeam until allies ready.
- Provide healing support to team (e.g., Lore of Imladris, Wellinghall Preserver).
- Use Beravor to give card draw to other players as needed.
Key Synergies
- Entmoot: Main card draw engine, rapidly finds allies.
- Wingfoot + Beravor: Free readying; quest and draw in same turn.
- Healing + Self-Damage: Turn heroes' self-inflicted damage into sustainable stat boosts and action advantage (Wellinghall Preserver, Lore of Imladris).
- Forest Snare + Infighting: Trap tough enemies, move damage around strategically.
Managing Threat-Heavy Openings
- Use Expecting Mischief early to preemptively kill or weaken threats.
- Don't hesitate to sacrifice early threat by questing lightly to keep heroes alive.
- Immediately remove location threat using Strider’s Path.
- Attach Woodmen’s Clearing to locations for threat reduction after exploring.
Quick Tactical Tips
- Mulligan for: Entmoot, Wingfoot, or cheap early allies (Quickbeam (Ally)).
- In multiplayer, coordinate with teammates to survive early rounds, then repay with powerful Ents mid-game.
- Be patient and strategic; your Ents dominate late-game once established.

Apr 01, 2025Thanks for the great feedback. I think i've finally got it fixed and legal in this version: I really need to get some Booming Ent cards. |
Dropping a comment to say I like how thorough your description is and the title is 10/10.
