Deck I used in the Llinars Spanish player meeting last weekend. We faced 5 scenarios with a deck, random table mates, and we could only use our main deck, and registered sideboards cards.

The plan of the deck is play Roheryn as fast as possible, and use it with Strength and Courage and Gondorian Fire + all the resource generators to finish almost every enemy before it can even attack.

The deck lacks a consistent way of drawing cards, which is its great flawless. Master of the Forge helps a lot with this, as almost half of the deck are attachments, so, it is important to play it as fast as possible when it is drawn.

Remember that Ring of Barahir, as it is a unique card, can only be played if you have the Spirit sphere icon (usually thanks to Celebrían's Stone). Thanks to it and Well Preserved Aragorn can get up to 10 HP which helps a lot if you have to defend against big enemies attacks.

Thorongil always to Aragorn unless you desperately need another of the versions.

if i understand it correctly,

with this tasks, killing 1 enemy per round safely is not enough, and, more is possible:

  1. why Aragorn you will rarely threaten out. tactic Aragorn would give you good portion of fightingpower (and you can rescue a mate engaging an enemy from him before he attacks in combo with your Roheryn)
  2. with 3 Resourceful do you really need the Steward of Gondor? i would leave it for other players
  3. you make nothing out of your sentinel, i would add a Golden Belt and a Armored Destrier
  4. specially in multiplayer there cannot be enough actions from heroes, if not for you, then to others. if Unexpected Courage is playable in multiplayergames, do it (either doing more sentineldefenses or give others more actions, or with tacticaragorn, just kill more enemys)
  5. would add at least 1 Rivendell Bow never got ranged cheaper
  6. would add the 3. Master of the Forge

with my changes i would discard the Dúnedain Wanderer to get the cards i prefer

meanwhile i like the Rhovanion Outrider more than the Northern Tracker speially in huge multiplayergames, there might be locations where you do not want to have progress on, and with Rhovanion Outrider you have better control.

hope you enjoy my thoughts, baseidea to have 3 actions out of the gate with Aragorn+The Grey Wanderer +Strength and Courage + Roheryn is good.

Not exactly, I tried to build a well rounded deck more than a super specific one.

  1. Loragorn is for returning to secrecy. Usually I use ring + contract every round, so it ia a three threat increase per round, usually I hoard a few cards with secrecy in the last rounds and resetting lets me play them all.
  2. Sure, I did if they had it on their pool. But, if not, it allows me to a fast setup of Gondorian Fire + Roheryn
  3. Oh man, you're wrong here. Usually I used Roheryn to engage+kill, and then, contract for readying and defend. Having a sentinel with 10 HP is great in multiplayer.
  4. I could have played... But I should have removed some other things there.
  5. Good point on that, I didn't thought on it when building the deck and it would have been great
  6. I thought about it but I found it a little overkill, usually I really only need one, and with Galadriel and Timely aid they use tobappear soon.

Probably, but on the other hand, locations usually tend to appear in high number at three player games, I still prefer northern trackers (I must admit I was thinking in playing both)

point 3 is meant, you have no cards that support or need sentinel, and therefore a Armored Destrier would be very nice

Restricted slots are destined to one ring and Celebrian stone. Probably I could have destined some slots to dunedain warnings or hauberk of mail, but I felt that having healing and a huge amount of HP was enough to cover defense. I prefered having some extra bodies, which also increase sword that was broken effectiveness
