Dunedain Wanderer summed up: Out of secrecy? Terrible. In secrecy? Not so bad. Think about it. Two leadership resources for a two, two, two ranged/sentinel. Pretty good am I right? Then comes the question of whether or not secrecy in leadership is even plausible. I think it is. You put Denethor and Sam in for heroes, all the secrecy stuff from leadership and neutral, Sword that was Broken, and a regular ally swarm. Completely doable. I think there's some use for you yet, my deer hunting friend.
Dúnedain Wanderer
Dúnedain. Ranger.
Ranged. Sentinel. Secrecy 3.
The Fellowship of the Ring
Road to Rivendell #29. Leadership.
Tagging along with what Wandalf said. This is one of those unsleeved cards that mostly just hang out in storage. But with leadership Frodo Baggins and maybe Sam Gamgee. Now you have a Leadership secrecy deck with 15 starting threat. But wait, there's more from Frodo Baggins continual threat reduction. Add in and maybe Dúnedain Quest and Celebrían's Stone and you have a great questers not likely to fail.
He works perfectly in my Secrecy Swarm deck. ringsdb.com - if you get him in your opening hand while in secrecy and you have Denethor on the table he can then combo extremely well with A Very Good Tale. Also, having ranged and sentinel option in multiplayer is always good.
