Oct 09, 2018Yeah, it is pretty fun. It's all about getting allies into play early on with Timely Aid and A Very Good Tale. We Are Not Idle is just there to shrink the deck slightly as you still get to draw a card whether you exhaust a dwarf or not. You could throw in A Good Harvest to get some non-leadership attachments on Sam but I'm not sure what you could sacrifice from the deck - perhaps a couple of copies of Dúnedain Wanderer? All of the existing attachments and events are pretty necessary but I'm loathe to get rid of any allies as with only one hero, you're gonna need all the help you can get. |
Oct 09, 2018I guess I was thinking one might eliminate We Are Not Idle, and add in two of A Good Harvest (which might also help with that Northern Tracker) and two of Fast Hitch, and still have only 52 cards, which didn't sound too bad. Oh well. Either way, it looks like a really fun deck to play. I'll have to try it some time. |
Oct 10, 2018That might work but you shouldn't forget the importance of card draw. In fact this deck could probably do with some more so I'm thinking of swapping in a couple of copies of Valiant Sacrifice as there's bound to be a few allies leaving play. |
