This deck started out as a take on the rangers defending The Shire and Bree. Damrod is not the right type of Ranger, but his ability to trap those threats in the wild comes in handy. The key combo here is Followed and the Emyn Arnen Ranger. If you can trap a 3 enemy early and get that benefit you will have a great chance at success. Gameplay is very straightforward. Use Sam Gamgee and Damrod to quest on turn 1, hopefully you laid a trap. Use Tom Cotton to defend with a Hobbit Cloak and a A Burning Brand after he gains some Wisdom. Raise the Shire can sneak a hobbit in when needed (Rosie Cotton is top priority). Halbarad can keep your threat lower than the enemies engagement to let Raise the Shire, Sam, Tom and Hobbit Cloak work.
I have had success with this in solo, but I think it would really do well in a multiplayer game if the other player has more starting .
Aside from the DĂșnedain Pipe (just watched the twitch) :-P this looks like a great deck! Excited to give it a whirl.
