Nov 24, 2024The minimum number of cards allowed in a deck is 50. It's generally accepted that the fewer cards in your deck, the better it will be, by making it easier to find cards that you need. I know you are a brand new player, but looking at the decks in your profile I would urge you to consider how you may cut this down to at least 60, if not 50 cards. See what is in your hand at the end of the game, and think about whether you really need them. For example, with Steward of Gondor and O Lorien, you should have plenty of resources, I doubt Horn of Gondor would be necessary and probably can go away. The Silverlode archers are pretty expensive for their stats, if you compare them to the Galadhon Archers, for example. You also have far more Leadership cards than other spheres, so removing them will help with your deck's balance. Quick Strike can be good if you have a hero with enough attack to kill an enemy before it can attack you. With only one attack-boosting attachment, that's probably unlikely here. I'd remove all 3 of those. Considering allies > attachments generally, I'd look at Galadriel's Handmaiden. Compared with Favor of the lady, it's contributing twice as much willpower for the same cost! I would take out all 3 Favors and replace them with the Handmaidens. That will get your deck down to 60 cards, and hopefully starts you thinking along the lines of how decks can be improved in general. Happy playing!! |
Nov 26, 2024I feel like the number of 69 cards was not a random number :D |
Nov 26, 2024if u like more as 50 cards for effectiveness go all the way and take A Perilous Voyage then u are much more flexible. |
I'd just like to let you know, I just used this deck to beat Passage of Mirkwood with a score of 77, and Journey along the Anduin with a score of 99.
