I refreshed my Hobbit deck when I went to 2024 Con of the Rings, and tooled it a bit for the Saga quests. This is my favorite iteration of a deck I've been playing for several years now.

Again, this is a pretty standard Black Riders Hobbits deck but specializing more in attachments than big allies. The Wardens and Forge Masters are the sadly not-so-thematic inclusions to keep the heroes up and swinging. Additionally, the Errand-rider comes in really clutch. If you draw 2 Fast Hitches, or Rosie, you're going to want to play them right away.

Mulligan for Fast Hitch and Rosie, remember that she can have Fast Hitch too, although I'd put the first on Sam or Merry depending on the quest.

As a reminder, Frodo also gives Merry that extra +1.

Additionally key to this deck is getting Sam set up as primary defender. Hobbit Cloak and Staff of Lebethron are necessities, and later in the campaign he can wield Sting to truly lethal results. We have only one copy of Gaffer Gamgee and a couple Feints to help buy some time.

I will typically use the Drinking Songs early to fetch important attachments, otherwise I use them primarily to find Friend of Friends. Play the first copy, then shuffle away your hand to try and fetch the other. Sam always gets one, of course, then Merry. Frodo is a good target in solo if you want the theme and to power him up too.

I know these 3 are super popular and everyone's got their opinions on how they like to play them, but this one speaks to me the most. Hope you enjoy.
