how to build a good victory-pile-deck?

i have a version, with hobbits, you can see here:https://ringsdb.com/deck/view/405471 that deck supports victorypile-shenanigans with few allies and mainly Gildor's Counsel in the mid-lategame. in my opinion it is only strong in multiplayer. this version is more flexible, it lacks the support of Gildor's Counsel and hobbitthings, but is able to build an own boardstate with allies.

with Beravor you have a top carddraw from the start. thats important, if you want to di victory-pile shenanigans and build a boardstate, you need more cards.

with the The Grey Wanderer you have the same income as a 3-hero-deck but can additional start with an attachment. the Leaf Brooch makes it easier to play events as long as you are in secrecy. so you can play more events in the first rounds. the Leaf Brooch is not very usefull in other decks that do not have it from the beginning. (its use is not very flexible and secrecy is a fragile state). but here with only 1 sphere for events and a decent duration in secrecy from the start it might spare about 4-5 res.

strategy: you need Out of the Wild as soon as possible. thy are the basement for your other discardpile-actions (named:

mulligan: look for Out of the Wild perhaps keep a hand with Resourceful and 2 carddrawingcards (like Lórien's Wealth cost only 2 with Leaf Brooch or Deep Knowledge )

playing advice:

depending on quest and perhaps playstyle it is considered to change the ratio of 1/1/1 of the put into victorypile-events. if using more the 3 i would cut in solo the Buckland Shirriff and Haleth

happy questing :)

Nice use of Leaf Brooch! I thought that card was useless
