With these two decks you are prepared for almost all crucial aspects in the game:
Willpower: Éowyn, Beravor, Aragorn (with Celebrían's Stone) and Legolas (with Light of Valinor) and almost all your allies are decent questers. Attach Thorongil to Aragorn and choose his leadership version to be attached to Thorongil. Aragorn can then quest and make himself ready by spending a resource. It gets even better, when you put Sword that was Broken on him. If you need more willpower from the start, exchange Eleanor with Círdan and add two copies of Will of the West for deck one.
Defense: Erkenbrand with an Armored Destrier and/or Unexpected Courage, a Hauberk of Mail, an Ancestral Armor and Captain of Gondor attached will do the job. Aragorn with Steward of Gondor and a Gondorian Shield would be a good choice, too. Even Eleanor with a shield and Treebeard will make for good defenders. Arwen Undómiel, Elrohir and Dúnedain Warnings are further solutions for flexible defense actions.
Attack: Legolas with a Rivendell Blade, a Rivendell Bow and a Bow of the Galadhrim attached will kill the toughest enemies and generate progress tokens as a bonus. Aragorn gets the second copy of Rivendell Bow and Roheryn attached. All copies of Dúnedain Mark can be distributed among the heroes as needed. Elladan and Treebeard are good attackers, too.
Shadow cancellation: Erkenbrand, Beravor / Eleanor / Aragorn with (Song of Wisdom and) A Burning Brand attached and Hasty Strokes help against deadly shadow effects.
Treachery cancellation: Eleanor and A Test of Wills make short work of annoying treacheries.
Healing: Ioreth, Warden of Healing and Raven-winged Helm on Erkenbrand will help negate archery fire and damage on heroes and allies.
Location control: Legolas with Arod and Asfaloth attached, Aragorn, Thrór's Map, Thrór's Key, Strider's Path, West Road Traveller and all copies of Northern Tracker will prevent location lock.
Card draw: Beravor and Gandalf will take care of never running out of cards in hand.
Threat control: Reduce threat of both decks with Double Back, The Galadhrim's Greeting, Galadriel's Handmaiden and Gandalf.
