MrSpaceBear 1013
A deck designed to swarm the board on the first turn or two.
Starting hand: Look for Timely Aid and card draw. Drinking Song and Heed the Dream can help find more Timely Aid. Deep Knowledge is fair game since starting threat is only 17. If playing ALEP cards, bring A Lesson in Caution.
First turn: Build a large board of allies by using Denethor's resources to play all the Timely Aid. Then use A Very Good Tale to get more. Ride the giant board state (and low threat) to victory. If you aren't set up in a few turns, it may be a tough game.
Resources: Why not more copies of Resourceful and Steward of Gondor? Well, if the deck isn't set up, the resources probably won't matter much. If it is, it's often nice to give Steward of Gondor to a friend anyhow.
do you think, that this is better than a grey wanderer denethor with Song of Wisdom as default-attachement?
1 green res more and 1 card more, but faster in non-secrecy.
so or so, i would replace the We Are Not Idle with Daeron's Runes, more cards
are the Rivendell Scout worth it? you are not long in secrecy and they are not good targets for the A Very Good Tale (either as target or for exhausting) i would prefer either DĂșnedain Wanderer or Ranger of Cardolan they are better targets for aid ot tale (for the wanderer a grey wanderer would be better more chances to get them cheap in ) another benefit from grey wanderer, you can include for longer games 1-2 Will of the West
