Breaking News - Middle Earth Scandal, as uncovered by Firyal of the Harad Herald.

Last night it was rumoured that Middle Earth's favourite son, Glorfindel, eloped with none other than, a hitherto unheard of, wood elf. We can find no mention of her in official records, but our sources have confirmed she's a magician named Rossiel.

We had arranged to meet with the couple's coach-hand, a hobbit named Folco Boffin, to bring you, dear reader, all the juicy details. Alas, a mere day after he drove the couple to their blissful woodland wedding, his corpse has been discovered in the discard pile. Cover up! Scandal!

The ceremony was supposedly carried out by a Warden of Healing as no Elven priest would dain to marry the Noldor prince to an unknown Silvan. You'd think racism would be dead in this day and age, especially after we all fought Sauron together!

It seems they chose to Risk Some Light, with Ithilien Lookouts making sure they weren't interrupted. Resourceful perhaps, but they failed to Leave No Trace, for this intrepid reporter has discovered the shocking truth!

Under the Light of Valinor and brightened by a A Burning Brand, Glorfindel rode down the aisle on a white horse, rumoured to be the famous Asfaloth, and the besotted couple exchanged a Magic Ring and a Leaf Brooch. The bride looking stunning in the latest fashion, a simple Cloak of Lórien. Music was provided by three time Rohan chart topper, Gléowine

This will surely be a A Test of Will for the elven peoples who expected a royal engagement to a Noldor lady of "proper" stature. Dignitaries from both Silvan and Noldor nobility have journeyed to seek Elrond's Counsel on the matter, but as yet, None Return.

I'm sure they'll be shocked to discover - further scandal! - that Elrond's own daughter, Arwen Undómiel, was part of the wedding party, once again choosing to challenge the aristocratic system and push for greater unity among the peoples of middle earth. Some even say Prince Imrahil was in attendance!

Strider could not be reached for comment, and even attempts to contact the agents of Henamarth Riversong were simply met with "The Door is Closed!"

Will this be the start of an overhaul of the notoriously prejudiced elven class system? If so, will Rossiel be a name that is forever associated with Unexpected Courage in leading this charge? I will Scout Ahead and bring you, gentle reader, further news from within the Elven Kingdoms in our next edition.

This is Firyal, Keen as Lances, reporting for the Harad Herald from an undisclosed location Out of the Wild!

p.s. Deck should be 50 cards but, instead of cutting 3, I wrote this. Oh well.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the kind words :)

In terms of the deck itself, I realised yesterday that it really needs Treebeard, Gandalf and Quickbeam to jump off the side-board if there's a big boss to fight (small enemies are usually fine, and you can avoid many encounter deck ones) - unless of course you're in a multiplayer situation with a player who is packing some heavy attackers.
