This is an updated version of my Thunder of Hoofs deck. I made several tweaks, mainly removing Prepare for Battle and adding The Storm Comes. Also I removed all copies of Unexpected Courageand Ancient Mathom. Added some healing with Dúnedain Remedy since I am playing this primarily solo.

My sideboard usually includes the Snowbourn Scout and The Riddermark's Finest. I would certainly add any other allies, or more copies of them, for quests that don't require a hero defender. I had to add more defense attachments for Erkenbrand for the later Haradrim quests where you are punished for blocking with allies or low-willpower characters (Uruks of the Eye encounter set, mainly).

In this set up I like to bring in one or two Wardens of Healing with Eowyns discard and Stand and Fight.

you can improve erkenbrand a lot if you give him the ring and inner strength.

i would replace the warden of helms deep with snowburnscout. 1. they are cheap (cost 0-1 with theoden) and you have something against location, soecially if they will be discarded and get back with gleowine. the few leadership-ressources will be needed for the attachements.

@doomguard I actually sideboard Snowbourn Scout in a lot, but I rarely encounter problems with playing the Wardens. I also don't care about having to chump block.

I have never used the Ring and not really interested in playing it for thematic reasons.

@Benedikt not a bad idea, but I am usually fine w/r to damage just having the Remedies.

I've stumbled upon your versions of this deck a few times - I am a big fan of the lineup! I love doing my own deckbuilding and toyed with the idea of making a new Rohan deck using this lineup. I ended up with an extremely similar deck to yours so I scrapped it. Yours seems so well-rounded i figured I'd just use yours instead. I'm excited to get it going.

The only thing I thought about doing differently is using Ancestral Armor with Erkenbrand and/or the Wardens. But I know Le resources are probably scarce as it is.

@Uruk-guy I'm glad you like it! Thank you for the kind words. The only reason I didn't include more expensive L attachments was simply the cost and how long it would take to get them into play.

Hope to hear how your games go! I'm stuck on Crossing of Poros right now in my replay of the Haradrim cycle with this deck solo. It's so tough lol

@Benedikt thank you for your wise counsel! In the Crossings of Poros, I had to bring in 2x Warden of Healing and 2x Stand and Fight to withstand the enemies. I felt it still thematic since you join in with the garrison at the end. That put this deck through the entire cycle!

@Benedikt This published list is a little outdated since I started the Haradrim replay journey. But, I removed 2 Remedies for Wardens, and Ceorl and Eothain for the Stand and Fight.

@Elessar010 I just came to say I admire your ability to stomach Crossing of Poros. I remember commenting on this deck quite some time ago because I remembered you saying you took this through the Haradrim cycle. I ended up beating it with a thematic Rohan deck, but I cheated and used the Three Hunters contract hehe. I wish I would have came back to check this thread before I did that. Anyway, congrats on beating Poros as I see you updated it since. I'll have to give your updated deck a shot. Congrats on the success with this lineup again!
