Built this deck to play in a four player game for people who haven't yet played the game. Theory is that I wanted to build four decks that epitomised the strengths and roles of each sphere, while ensuring they were playable with a little bit of resource acceleration and card draw in each deck.
It was always going to be a challenge to decide which deck would use Aragorn, but I felt that Aragorn best supported the four player game. Boromir's action advantage should help alleviate any turns were massive numbers of enemies come down, relying on Gandalf, Secret Vigil and the Spirit players The The Galadhrim's Greetings to keep the threat under control. I didn't include Favor of the Valar because I thought it might be a little confusing and the deck isn't strictly built around abusing Boromir's ability. In fact, I was seriously considering putting in a hero like Brand son of Bain for some Ranged and action advantage, but felt that filling the deck with plenty of allies like Legolas (who also fills the card draw requirement), RĂºmil and Galadhon Archer would allow the deck to deal with any enemies that got away and using Aragorn would let us pull them back over. Also, plenty of Sentinel in Beregond and Winged Guardian coupled with Feints and Thicket of Spears should protect the weaker combat decks.
