Sauron always said the rings were like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get.
- Celebrimbor
Here is a deck that revolves around Vilya, but doesn't include Wizard Pipe or Imladris Stargazer to set up your top card. Instead, it focuses on just making sure every card in the deck is a good Vilya play. It's solo and multiplayer friendly, and it only uses 1 Core Set.
To start, mulligan for Vilya. The 3x Master of the Forge serve as a backup: if you don't get Vilya in your opening hand you discard a card to trigger Arwen Undómiel and place a resource on Elrond. Then, you can play the Master of the Forge and grab your Vilya, still playing it on the first turn.
Galdor is an alternate here if someone is playing Glorfindel (just make sure to swap out the Galdor ally too), and although his stats are a bit lower he really helps the setup. The rest of the sideboard is to swap out for uniques that other people are using.
Once you have Vilya just start using it blindly every turn. If you get lucky and turn up an early Gildor Inglorion, you can use his ability to set up your deck, but where's the fun in that?
Every game with this deck is going to be wildly different, because you don't get to decide what gets played.
All we have to decide is what to do with the allies that are given to us.
- Gandalf
Enjoy!

Apr 22, 2016This looks great, I can't wait to try it out. |
Apr 23, 2016Great deck! Love the blind gamble of not knowing what you will get but knowing it will be good. Very impressive! |
Apr 23, 2016It's too bad that 1x Gildor is the only way to put cards back. Just drawing cards normally can make some cards into dead cards when they normally would not be. Otherwise, this looks intriguing. |

Apr 26, 2016I like the idea ! But imagine what this deck could do with 3 imladris as you can play imladris and vilya Turn 1 ^^ But i respect the choice of changing the Elrond way of playing ^^ Cheers Ao. |

May 03, 2016I like this deck but it looks a little too random for me. How is this deck performing in the early game? |
May 07, 2016Thanks for the great deck which finally saw me through A Journey to Rhosgobel (a few minor changes for healing). Lots of fun for a new player! |
May 23, 2016Hey This is a great deck , I finally beat Carn dun with it , however I replaced arwen with the lady G so allies could quest first turn . |

Excellent. For some reason, I especially like the inclusion of Lórien's Wealth. Also blindly getting a free Timely Aid in this deck is pretty great.
