This is part of a Fellowship, along with the Lore-spirit deck listed elsewhere.
Sword that was broken and Celebrían's Stone go on Aragorn in the other deck, allowing it to really take care of the questing. Steward of Gondor is ideally for Elrond.
Song of Kings on Mablung is the key way of paying for cards in this deck. Mablung with a Gondorian Shield can do a lot of defending, but there are also ally combinations that can work in the right circumstances: a Gondorian Spearman with a Spear of the Citadel can take out damaged enemies, or in a side-quest heavy environment, Vigilant Dúnadan with a Raiment of War can be worth the expensive set-up
