This is the deck I used to beat Journey to the Cross-roads.
I made a slight modification by adding 1 copy each of Protector of Lórien and Fellowship of the Ring. I almost beat the quest with no enemies escaping, these boosts should help. Hold off on Fellowship if you think a character will be destroyed.
This is one of the trickiest/hardest quests solo. This deck is very focused on killing enemies from turn 1.
Use Gandalf and Hail of Stones to kill enemies in staging.
The Oliphants are very tough, Rivendell Blade or Marksman of Lórien plus a weapon and Straight Shot to discard them. Do not use Straight shot against any other enemy.
A mistake I made was using Frodo's Intuition when some of my heroes we're exhausted...I would wait, unless you absolutely need a card.
Good luck!

Jul 11, 2018youtu.be new video is up of me using this deck. Thank you SamthemanGamgee. |
Apr 10, 2019Dude, your deck sucks for this quest big time. I tried it 3 times on "easy" mode and failed every time. This deck is better than the famous "The One Deck" by Seastan, but it still fails miserably after 5 to 7 rounds. I mean, no wonder people were complaining in your videos about how you screwed up the rules. I guarantee you that those screw ups made you win because I can tell ya that if you followed the rules to a T, this deck would not have won. |
Apr 10, 2019Another really bad aspect of this deck is that you end up with a lot of cards in your hand, and the game becomes a real brain-burner. I ended up with a headache just trying to strategize and figure out what to do. Between that, keeping up with the responses on your cards, the effects of the encounter cards, etc., this is a recipe for disaster. I mean sh*t, for the sake of my health (and other people's health), they really should avoid this deck like the plague. |
Apr 10, 2019Also, you seriously need something to get rid of shadow effects. That's a major, MAJOR error you made when creating this deck. |

Apr 10, 2019@fitz85Hi Paul. Watch the video linked to see where you are making strategic mistakes. If played correctly you don't defend many attacks. Plus I DO have shadow cancelation; Forewarned. |
Mar 15, 2021Following your decks through my own saga campaign run through. They’ve been a great help so far - fingers crossed for this one |
Watched the video, I love seeing a straight shot taking down a mumak
