Let's get real -- this deck is not quite strong enough for this quest. Not having shadow or treachery cancellation can be back-breaking, and you will frequently run out of relevant cards or get swamped by enemies and locations early. But if you are committed to the Gondor theme, making the most of this box, and not using too many power cards (other than the obligatory Gandalf-Sneak Attack), this will get you there eventually. Hail of Stones outperforms given how difficult it can be to quest and clear enemies in this scenario. It is especially useful to prevent some of those nasty Brigands from engaging.
Also used for Into Ithilien, although this is not a great idea.
