Love the Elfhelm (on a Armored Destrier) Mount Theme so been looking for ways to make it more competitive and the combo of the contract, Aragorn riding Roheryn accompanied by Elena with her Steed of Imladris is pretty satisfying with up to 4x card draw per turn.

Aragorn & Elena Setup pulls you Estel for 2x card draw/search and Silver Harp brings the first discarded card back into your hand. With contract you get Harp online for free first turn fueling the search engine without being at a deficit. If happen to have Elven-Light turn up early, with Aragorn's 2x Estel ability you can be drawing up to 4 cards from turn one.

Given the theme of mounted hunters, the idea of accelerated travel/draw as you gain on your enemies is thematically satisfying.

You flip Contract at Turn 2 quite consistently, general set up give or take:

Elfhelm: Initially key defender then becomes all round weapon

• 1) Look for Armored Destrier (R) in opening hand, also gives the defence boost
• 2) Turn 1 One Ring + Inner Strength (R) no cost, gets Elfhelm flip ready
• 3/4) Golden Shield (R) + Herugrim (R) with Golden Belt
• Other: Wants to see a Unexpected Courage x1/2 so can quest/attack too, would have liked Snowmane but we have no room at the inn. Once up and running you have x2 defence with double shadow control, and/or a Herugrim a swing back & questing support

Aragorn: Well rounded quester with engagement readying and quick strike

• 1) Turn 1 Silver Harp (R) which is free (thanks Elena)
• 2) Steed of North free Turn 2 (or War Axe if you get Roheryn online Turn 2)
• Key: Roheryn whilst not restricted is a centerpiece for the deck so you want to see him fast. He is your key Mount for Boost both and
• 3/4) Andúril & War Axe 3rd/4th with Golden Belt
• Others needed: Steward of Gondor, Thorongil for Loragorn for Threat Reset. Unexpected Courage. Once up and running you have a Questing + Roheryn Quickstrike + 1-2 more attacks/defence if you need them

Elena: She is really there for the Setup and Flip Acceleration, null mount boost though can clear some locations with her steed

• 1/2/3) Cerebrian's Stone (R), Steed of Imladris (R) & Wooden Lyre (R) no particular order. Steed and Lyre are both free.
• Rarely gets Golden Belt, can give her Song of Travel and another Harp if like. Strider often goes here if not on Elfhelm

Other deck comments outside of the core engine:

• Incase there wasnt enough draw already, A Fair Exchange can be clutch to find missing piece or something specific like Andúril for Aragorn or Herugrim to transition Elfhelm to both defender and attacker (swinging for c.10) mid-late game, or most commonly to find:
• Thorongil for Aragorn for much needed Threat Reset as there isn't alot of room to play with between starting 30 and 45
• Plenty of duplicates that can be swapped or discarded as needed tweak things as needed for specific scenarios
