Midalor 1

This deck is designed for The Ring Goes South. Use guarded cards in the opening planning phase prior to Council of Elrond. The more threat that you can add at this stage decreases the number of cards that must be revealed to reach the = 2 x number of players. Also nice if you can hit Hound of Sauron or Crebain with guarded cards since it negates surge/when revealed effects. Keep your threat low with The Shirefolk. Use Out of the Wild to remove Snowdrifts from the encounter deck. Bide your time in the middle game getting restricted attachments on your hero and increasing Sam's attack and getting a few copies of Fast Hitch on him. It's really important to get Orcrist and Glamdring on Sam if you are playing solo. You will need this attack to damage the watcher. Taste it Again! is another very useful card for getting the 6 damage on the watcher.
