Here is a pretty classic Dunedain deck that I play in true solo against the scenario "The Steward's Fear". I added Steward of Gondor to it for its intrinsic assets and for thematic reasons. It's still hard to win like with any Dunedain scheme in solo, however I have good results with that one.
- Mulligan for Celebrían's Stone or Steward of Gondor. Attach them to Aragorn
- Don't fear to play Legacy of Númenor and Deep Knowledge without any restraint until 48/49 threat level. Then trigger the Aragorn's ability
- Will of the West could help you if you'd face the plot Up in Flames
- Attach Armored Destrier to Amarthiúl. First defend against a lower ennemy, then ready up Amarthiul and discard a shadow card dealt to a stronger ennemy
- Attach Forest Snare to Underworld Dissident. They will work for the Dunedain mechanics by increasing attack, defense and willpower general levels
- I do not need Knowledge of the Enemy here. Legacy of Númenor + Steward of Gondor + Heir of Valandil + Amarthiúl's ability is a sufficient package
- A Test of Will is not really important here, because treacheries are manageables and... we are in Dunedain territory so we accept a certain level of risk. I kept Hasty Stroke because it serves the focal point of Dunedain mechanism
