Date night part 2 brought to you by the most recent release from ALeP!

This couple is a very straightforward deck without too much that needs explaining in how they operate. They are the questing powerhouse of my date night decks as Tom Bombadil can ramp up fairly quickly, and Goldberry makes ample use of Let Us Sing Together to get the other couples questing for free. This is particularly important as only one of the Date Night decks can be running Strider.

I tend to Mulligan for Song of Kings as there are quite a few leadership songs that are absolute essentials for this deck (Song of Slumber is a lifesaver, and An Unexpected Party helps this deck tremendously).

Turn 4 A fun thing I found when building more of the At the End of All Things decks is that having a BIG purchase turn 4 can be nice, but often times decks that have lots of cheap cards can function extremely well with just one or two other cards to get the deck flowing, and the money lets you play as much as you need. I tend to not always pick the same thing with this deck on turn 4. I have grabbed two copies of ellusive Let Us Sing Together, but a well timed Drinking Song or Bilbo Baggins can prove vital at the right moment as well.

Elendilmir One combo I do want to point out though as I haven't seen it used with Tom very often, is the Elendilmir. When it gets placed down it is guarded by a location which this deck can either quest easily through, or use Bilbo's Walking Song to clear as soon as it goes down (With Goldberry and Bilbo with Unexpected Courage and Fast Hitch you can max out at 6 progress on a location per turn). Once it is attached to Tom Bombadil, his power can trigger twice per phase, meaning he can drop an insane amount of damage or healing as long as your hand has more songs in it, which isn't too much of a problem given Peace, and Thought and how easy it is play that card with this deck.

Pairs With For a double date, this deck pairs well with a combat oriented deck. They get along especially well with Faramir/Eowyn, Rowan/Osbera and most potently with Arwen/Aragorn.
