Premise


Dale is a really strong archetype, a statement that holds especially true in solo in my opinion. Solo allows you to run as many of the Doomed cards as you want which gives the very powerful but somewhat slow Dale synergy the kick it needs to really get started. With Aragorn's ability almost entirely circumnavigating the drawback of your Doomed cards, Brand son of Bain can boost his fast-swarming countrymen, draw like crazy and your Dale army can steamroll almost any quest in the game.


How To Play


I like to see a starting hand that enables a quick swarm early on. King of Dale, Steward of Gondor and most of all Legacy of Númenor (or The Seeing-stone for that matter) are all very helpful with that, especially if you have some great drawing attachments that can keep your hand filled up rather nicely. As with all my Dale decks, I believe you should usually prioritize giving each Dale character an attachment before loading them up with multiple ones (to maximize your drawing and willpower boost).


Considerations


Helm of Secrecy is a very useful card in a few specific scenarios where you might require a specific hero. Will of the West is important in quests that attack your hand or deck. Double Back I like if Aragorn does not provide enough threat reduction by himself.

Is the optimal use of Seeing Stone to just go ahead and find the other Seeing Stones in order to thin the deck? I'm about to try this deck for my Ered Mithrin campaign :)

Very hard to give a general advice on this. If you need resources, you go for Legacy, if you need to dig for sth desperately I'd rather just go Deep Knowledge since this way you will dig quicker. (Because even if you draw Stone, it can be another Deep Knowledge).

The only occasion I want to really do sth like Seeing Stone -> Seeing Stone -> X is when you have only one Deep Knowledges remaining or want to maximize my odds for Long Lake Fisherman.
