my version of wooden soldiers:
i stay on 1 hero and have added Resourceful, the spiritcards can be played by 1. card per turn from contract.
the maindefender should become Gildor Inglorion buffed with Cloak of Lórien. if attacks of more than 5 comes there are chumps (Guardian of Ithilien, Ithilien Lookout, Loyal Hound) that all have additional tasks.
strategig advice:
- try to get Gildor Inglorion or Haleth with Timely Aid if not Mirkwood Explorer are also good targets.
- spam as much attachments on locations as possible, you can draw if explored as active and get some back with Erebor Hammersmith
- use discount for Mirkwood Hunter
- play Ithilien Lookout as long you are on secrecy
- Valiant Determination worth on Gildor Inglorion then he can quest for 3 and be ready for defense
- Guardian of Ithilien if not used for chump, they can be used for Guarded Ceaselessly

Feb 02, 2024i think it shuld. if i do not err, caleb stated, that encountersetup comes before playersetup (except one ring-setup). and Elf-stone makes sense if Haleth or Gildor Inglorion is in startinghand, else i would prefer the +2 from Strider |

For quests with a starting active location, could you grab Elf-stone with The Grey Wanderer? Does that work with setup timing?
