Warden of Arnor 6030
"For though the Stones be lost, they say, still the Lords of Gondor have keener sight than lesser men, and many messages come to them."
A deck dedicated to support, primarily through the scrying offered by both the Palantir and Denethor (with Unexpected Courages attached). The three card scry of the Palantir, on top of letting a group of decks quest for the exact amount they need (be it to clear an active location or a side quest, or simply to avoid questing unsuccessfully), can also inform their decisions in the Planning phase, as to whether it's a good time to play Ranger Spikes, whether or not to save resources for A Test of Will, Secret Paths or The Evening Star, and so on.

Feb 14, 2017Why three Halfling Bounders with only two side quests? |
Feb 14, 2017Makes sense to me. The side quests don't disappear from the victory display when you use a bounder...You'll get three cancels from your three bounders assuming you can get a SQ into the victory display, making 6 cancel total...pretty strong i'd say. |
Feb 15, 2017Yeah, the number of side quests doesn't matter to the Bounders, I only need one. As noted in the blog post, Gather Information could be a decent addition to the deck, and that'd increase the consistency, but with the amount of draw I can get from Master of the Forge/Palantir/Daeron's Runes/Deep Knowledge/Elven-light I should find one of the 2 most games. That's also partly why everything is so cheap @Qwaz - drawing that many cards I can't necessarily afford expensive things, though Gildor's Counsel could be a decent option in keeping with the general idea of the deck. |
Feb 15, 2017Ok. My only concern was that they would not be consistent enough. I forgot how much draw you put in. |
Further from my comment on your blog -I also like how cheap this deck is! Nothing above two cost with potentially 4 resources a round is going to be amazing.
