Just another test deck really as much as anything to try out Hirgon a little as I've never used him before one of the ever fewer hero's in my collection I haven't at all at this point. So I want to get him out and put him through a few different quests and then threw together a Gondor themed deck to try him out with.
Could have gone with a few different options really as Gondor does have a few different hero's and spheres to try and use. I decided to go with Outlands as well as I haven't used that in a long time and then put Denethor in as a dedicated high defence hero with relatively low threat and he can be tooled up with some of the deck options to boost his defence even more if needed.
Otherwise it really is relying on the outlands element to provide the power and if anything that is going to rely on timing. A hard hitting quest right from the start might just overwhelm this deck before it can power up. Especially as I would like a lot more reliable card draw really just to give me options to make full use of what is needed at any given time.
Failing that a lack of healing and any kind of cancellation really is another problem as well. But heh solo games don't give you a lot of options at times to do a whole bunch to we can see how it goes.
would definetly optimize. means:
get all the outlandallies you can get. they are so effective (+3)
max Steward of Gondor
consider hirgons arrow The Red Arrow
max Sneak Attack
max Feint
you need no more attack, the allies will handle, so discard
would further discard:
consider some Grim Resolve or Doom Hangs Still and /or Tome of Atanatar
