Wittebaard 91
Pairs with a questing deck.
- Dúnedain love to be engaged with enemies, so this deck and the accompanying Trapping Forest Rangers deck make it as easy as possible for them.
- Try to have some enemies with Forest Snare engaged as soon as possible so you don't have to worry about this during the rest of the game.
Main combo's:
- Halbarad can use Celebrían's Stone to quest big without exhausting. He might be useful for attacking later on with the other deck's Ranger Spear.
- Traditional Sneak Attack with Gandalf. Why doubt a classic. However, if the need calls for it, you also sneak in Ranger of Cardolan (he's pretty expensive) or Dúnedain Hunter. The last since he generates a resource for Mablung if it's not the Planning phase.
- Mablung's effect can be triggered again in the Questing phase by using Wait no Longer during an action window.
- A Defender of Rammas who is wearing Raiment of War will defend big time and won't die easily. Other defenders come in the form of Guardian of Arnor
- A Very Good Tale with Ranger of Cardolan to get free allies in play.
- Speaking of allies, Heir of Valandil will obviously generate nice discounts. However, there will be some nice resource generating as well through Amarthiúl's ability, Mablung's ability, Ranger Provisions and the staple Steward of Gondor.
- Exhaust War Axe with Foe-hammer to generate carddraw. Carddraw could also come from the other deck, so I see no problems there.
- Gondorian Shield and War Axe/Ranger Spear make a nice allround hero out of Mablung.
- Staple cards like Feint and Faramir require no explanation in a deck like this.
