I replaced Merry with Boromir using the contract Messenger of the King in a slightly modified version of the deck Stealth and Steadfastness suggested in the Fellowship of the Ring Saga expansion.

Use 3 Frodo's Intuition instead of the 3 copies of Valiant Sacrifice when playing expansion saga scenarios.

Ooh this is a cool variation. Do you find 2x Daughter of the Nimrodel enough to keep Boromir alive and kicking?

Thanks @Marctimmins89! For now it's been enough, but I'm also feeling that I might have been quite lucky... You might want to add one or two copies of Self Preservation or Elrond to use Boromir to its full potential.
