Anyway, this is more suitable for combat, as the eagles and their Support provide you more combat tricks. If you use Gandalf to pay for one, you can attach it to him, and Gandalf with a support of the eagles, Shadowfax and an unexpected courage is a combat machine. Also, once Merry gets an Unexpected Courage, can help Gandalf with even more readying.
The Island Amid Perils / Galadhrim Weaver combo is as valid here as in the original deck. Unlike its inspiration deck, here, the ideal candidate for Steward of Gondor is Merry, because the eagles are a little expensive. You can use the excess of resources to pay for Trebeard or Radagast.
The deck is very fun to play, though sometimes it is a little tricky to see the ideal play.
Great title! The deck looks pretty strong, but did you consider adding Daeron's Runes and an extra Wizard pipe? Gandalf can play Daeron's Runes from the top of the deck, and Smoke Rings gets better with more pipes. Just a thought.
