how to use Lothíriel other than with gondor or rohantrait?

there are some cards, that give a trait, but go for it only after a specific card appear? its not what you mostly want. erestor can help to make it fast, and if pplaying erestor, eves makes sense, specially Elf-friend that gives 2 traits and there are characters that have come-into play effects or are well usuable in the questphase.

(warrior, scout, and ranger would be the other options, but that does not this much synergise with erestor)

to give it a good start, Denethor with his extramoney fasten it up.

beside the mainstrategy to build up a boardstate with some noldor, this decks has many little trick up his sleeve:

mulligan:

Love of Tales is the better the earlier it come, keep your hand only if it has Elf-friend otherwise.

if no Elf-friend is in your startinghand, no tears, hope to get it either with Drinking Song (optimally after Love of Tales or Galadriel might help

little tricks and advise:

  • try to make money early. for that Wealth of Gondor and Gaining Strength helps. remember, denethor can feed Lothíriel so she can start with 2 res if needed
  • its a erestordeck, so you will go through it 2 or 3 times, so no worry if the expensive allies will be discarded, you get them later, and Glorfindel can be played from the discard, do not forget ;)
  • try to use Elrond as much as possible with Lothíriel he will be shuffled back and thx to the heavy carddraw of Erestor you will see him soon again.
  • use the Silver Harp to store a card you will use next round and cannot pay this round
  • as usual To the Sea, to the Sea! can be used to cheapen up noldorallies, it is a nice buff but not the only trick in this deck

the deck really shines in multiplayer, where Elrond can support every player.

there is a mistake, the ally Erestor should be Galdor of the Havens

I wish there was a usefulness to putting elven king in there to "hang onto" the Lothiriel-ed Ally, but there's not a strong enough use of a Silvan ally to make it worth it.

Elven King doesn't work in this deck, because saving the Silvan means discard it at the end of the turn, while Lothiriel returning a card to the deck actually preserves it for next time. A dedicated Silvan deck with Celeborn/Erestor/Lothiriel would actually be pretty good, I think.

The Elvenking would be possible, if attached to Lothíriel. there is an actionwindow after resolving quest and end of the phase. so, the exhausted ally who quest can be returned with elenking on a elf-friended lothiriel, but or what? reading lothiriel is not this much of a deal, get the ally in hand instead of shuffle into the deck? would be great if it would work on Elrond + Silver Harp but work only on silvans.

Yes, while The Elvenking could be used to save a Silvan from being shuffled into the deck, the readying part isn't really helpful if you stick it on Lothíriel. But if you're running Lothiriel in a Silvan deck, you probably are running Celeborn or Thranduil. Celeborn is a particularly good with an ElvenKing/Lothiriel combo, since he quests well, has good attack and decent defensive potential, and boosts the willpower Lothiriel's Silvan targets. There are other Silvans that might be useful to ready after questing, such as Argalad and Legolas.

argalad or legolas would be great targets
