"If at first you don't succeed, dust yourself off and try again..." Mulligan for Steward of Gondor and/or Horn of the Mark. Attach Steward of Gondor to Dúnhere and use Théodred's ability to give resources to Éomer until you explore the starting Accursed Battlefield. This deck has no defenders, so you should always leave the cheapest allies ready to block Thaurdir's attacks, preferably the ones with 0. Prioritize playing allies with higher in the first few turns, so you can quest successfully after exploring the accursed battlefield. Stay in the first stage until you equip Dúnhere with two Spear of the Mark, and Éomer with Firefoot and a War Axe. Attack Orc Grunts with Éomer to spill damage over to tougher enemies using Firefoot's ability and possibly kill two enemies with a single blow. Once Dúnhere and Éomer are fully equipped, clear all regular enemies before advancing to the second stage. You should be able to kill Thaurdir with a single blow once your heroes are fully equipped, so it's best to keep both copies of Astonishing Speed in hand to be used in the second stage because it's likely that you'll need them both to clear the second stage in a single turn. If possible, try to use all your Sneak Attack cards before starting to play Gandalf from hand so you can avoid too much damage from Vile Affliction and you can have enough resources in Théodred's pool to be able to play Gandalf using only resources.
