The Thematic Saga continues with Journey in the Dark.

In this series I am trying to use as many thematic cards as possible as I play the Lord of the Rings Saga quests in order, in a modified campaign mode. The modification is that I will not be raising my threat if I swap heroes in-between quests.
Frodo Baggins has been stabbed!
Having narrowly escaped The Watcher the Fellowship of the Ring begins the long dark journey through Moria. Aragorn will need to keep some Athelas on hand to avoid some crippling grief and potentially fatal wounds.
Gandalf will lead the way with his Staff, Narya, and of course…a Pipe. As they travel through the darkness they become aware of a growing DOOM! that threatens to overwhelm them. As they make a last race over the Bridge of Khazad-Dum an ancient enemy approaches. Victory will be a Close Call . Gandalf, with the Flame of Anor, stands alone to face this formidable foe.
The Fellowship is victorious in the end, but victory comes at a great cost.
