with the sneackerrata of "set aside" its possible to creatze a usefull put into encounterdeck-deck. its more a multiplayerdeck, but meanwhile strategy is doable alone.
there are many conditions to fullfill, to get all possibles in:
- all spheres
- a noldor
- a dunedain
- a hobbit
this is my version:
all spheres will be realised as soon you have engaged an enemy.
mulligan for Gandalf + Sneak Attack or for Love of Tales + Drinking Song
- low thread so you can choose if and by whom to be engaged
- if nobody else need The One Ring Amarthiúl likes it together with Inner Strength
- Armored Destrier and Hauberk of Mail goes to Amarthiúl (if without The One Ring he can get both)
- Love of Tales goes to Pippin mainly to get better use of Drinking Song
- Captain's Wisdom only usable for (MotK) Arwen Undómiel
up to 10 cards can be put into the encounterdeck (Tom Bombadil only once per time)

This keyword has following rules: • Cards with the encounter keyword cannot be included in player decks. When setting up a scenario, each player may set aside up to 3 copies of each card with the encounter keyword, out of play. These cards do not count toward the player’s deck old: images-cdn.fantasyflightgames.com • Player cards with the encounter keyword cannot be included in any player’s deck because they have encounter card backs. Instead, when setting up a scenario, each player may set up to 3 cards with the encounter keyword aside, out of play. These cards do not count toward the player’s deck minimum of 50 cards. |
Dec 01, 2022Did you think about combining this with cards like Out of the Wild, Scout Ahead, and the other victory display mechanics? You could both thin the worst cards out of the encounter deck AND add beneficial cards! |
Dec 01, 2022that would be nice, but need secrecy. i see no option to reach all the options +secrecy. let one fall (e.g. no dunedain) its doable and perhaps better. i you have a soloution lets see. |
