At its core, this is basically just another Gloin deck. I made it mainly to handle quests where archery or similar such direct damage is a big issue. Ents have a lot of life to soak arrows, and Booming Ent has everything to gain from that. Also, and perhaps more obviously, the father son duo Gimli and Glóin essentially exist to take damage. The bevy of healing cards exist to mitigate that steady flow of damage tokens, and trinkets like Citadel Plate and Ent Draught give me a longer buffer time to utilize them. Fair note, this is definitely not an optimized healing roster, but I am missing Wellinghall Preserver, Warden of Healing, and probably a few other cards that could really make the deck pop. For what it's worth, I can expect Lembas and Galadhrim Healer from my companion deck.
(v. 1.2 has updated the deck to make things a bit more reliant on the heroes. More readying effects and fewer expensive/arguably unnecessary allies)
