my version of "simply walk into mordor..."
inspired by the idea and well written intro of:https://ringsdb.com/decklist/view/32614/simplewalkintomordorendthings-1.0
keep the theme from there, here a deck with the 2 heroes alone:
put the ring + Inner Strength on Boromir try to flipp 1. round, that is possible you need only 3 restricted (or 1 + Raiment of War
give Glorfindel Thorongil to give him the ability and sphere of Glorfindel if thorongil is not found use a Song of Wisdom to increase carddraw and play Asfaloth
use Golden Belt to power up to 4 restricted to gain up to 15 willpower (boromir: 1 base + 4 restricted = 5; glorfy 3 base +4 restricted +1 windfola+ 2 silvercirclett=10)
if needed, boost with The Favor of the Lady
power Boromir up to
-
attack about 10 (3 base + 1-4 axe + another weapon) + possible Strength and Courage and boost his
-
defense at minimum to 5 (2 base +2 Gondorian Shield + 1 Inner Strength )
use Open the Armory to get the right weapon/armor
depending on testing, consider Elrond's Counsel

Oct 24, 2022Strider is very good idea. 2 additional #Light of Valinor are in the sideboard, if needed. i think, 1 light and 2 Unexpected Courage are enough because Boromir can ready himself if needed. or what would you discard for the 2 additional lights? |
