This is the deck I used to defeat Wrath and Ruin for my Single Core Progression series. The video can be found here: https://youtu.be/uOQzrF35zsA
Wrath and Ruin gives solo players the opportunity to use location dependent cards. The quest has a mechanic that spits out a location each time one is cleared (if you choose to not get attacked).
This makes a woodman deck very viable. Haldan is so powerful, with his card draw and ability to stay ready for combat if the active location has an attachment. So, this deck puts a lot of attachments in it to fuel this ability. In fact, there is so much card draw that having 54 cards in this deck is absolutely fine.
Dáin Ironfoot also mills your deck as he defends. Since this quest can cause an attack in the quest phase and the combat, his ability is twice as good.
I have found this deck against this quest to be very fun and a great way to get to know the power of the woodmen.
