Skeffington 244

Skeffington has a newer deck inspired by this one: Mining for Relics

This deck is making use of an old favorite card with Imladris Stargazer and Dwarf and Noldor discard mechanics to control the top card in your discard pile to boost Gaeronel and Noldor allies. Relic of Nargothrond is very powerful to boost Gaeronel or Warden of the Havens and just the consistent attachment card this deck archetype needed.

Controlling the top card in your discard pile:

Boosting your questers (Event card on top):

Círdan the Shipwright and Wandering Exile can drop a event cards from your hand at the right timing. Elven-light is preferred for that. This boosts Gaeronel and Sailor of Lune.

Boosting your defenders (attachment on top):

Relic of Nargothrond really is the primary card for that. You usually drop at least one to boost a defender for the rest of the round. Further boosting can be done via Arwen Undómiel and Narya to bring you defenders Gaeronel and Warden of the Havens to 6 defense with sentinel.

Boosting your attackers (ally on top):

Together with Imladris Stargazer you can use Thorin Stonehelm reaction to drop an ally in the discard pile and boost also Gaeronel and Mithlond Sea-watcher. Narya can boost the latter to 4 attack with ranged.

If you make your last defense a chump-block with Harlond Lookout, you can not only set up your Sea-watchers, but ready Gaeronel as well :)
