with the new Glorfindel monotactic get a new era. these 3 heroes quest naked from the start with 11 willpower.
with many allies that also have willpower 1-2 it should be able to handle the quests to the end.
problem is to ready the heroes after questing. but Alep not only give glorfindel the sphere he deserves, it has also the tactic-courage Onward Into Battle in store. with that (and the Magic Ring there are some options to refresh.
for the fighting glorfindel needs a Rohan Warhorse, then he can (mostly) attack twice, at least if he get one (or 2 with Golden Belt ) of the shiny weapons. do not hesitate to give him a Raiment of War, then he is also able to tank an attack undefended for max. str 6.
best to give theoden 2 shields, and with his self-boosted willpower of 3 he defends up to6
little advice:
- try to get a weapon and foehammer early
- let eowyn quest all the time, if is needed she has her ability. if used with Quick Strike
- Book of Eldacar can recycle Feint or Quick Strike, with Glorfindel using the Quick Strike often skip the defense
- use Thicket of Spears only if you have many enemies
find your personaly preference of whant events you like the most (perhaps quickstrike is better than Feint....
