[ChallengeDay - March 28]

Galadriel & Thranduil's forces destroy Dol Guldur

For too long, the Dark Lord's forces attacked Lórien and Mirkwood, usurping territory and fouling what they couldn't get their hands on. The Elven forces resisted for long, and their realms were preserved, specially through Galadriel's Nenya.

When the One Ring was finally destroyed, they saw their opportunity to exact justice. On March 28th of 3019, under the command of Galadriel and Thranduil, the elven jointed forces marched upon Dol Guldur itself, the Necromancer's Keep, when the Lady laid down the walls by herself. After the battle, only the hill was left behind, and the place received it's original - and proper - name once again: Amon Lanc.

This is a new Challenge to help keeping things fresh for veteran players and to new players who'd like to try something different. In order to beat this challenge you have to: to help keeping things fresh for veteran players and to new players who'd like to try something different. In order to beat this challenge you have to:

  • Beat any of the following quests:
    1. !! Escape from Dol Guldur
    2. !! Attack on Dol Guldur (bonus points)
  • Use Galadriel AND Thranduil in the same Fellowship;
  • Nenya must be present in either deck;
  • You can't use Galadriel's Mirror;
  • Thranduil must participate in an attack that destroyed an Orc enemy;
  • ALeP cards are allowed;
  • Defeat the stage until next week's "What Did You Play" (April 4th);

Bonus Challenges:

  • No Celeborn;
  • No Gandalf;
  • No unique non-Elves (Silvan or Noldor).

This deck focuses on bringing more Silvan to quest and trying to keep everything afloat. Either by bouncing one or another Silvan for a later drop and abusing Celeborn's ability or by providing Galadriel's whooping 4 to the questing totals.

Thorongil goes on Legolas for the extra progress; as well as the Long-knife. The Elvenking goes on Thranduil for double defense, when needed.
