Derived from Seastan's Deck You Want Your Friends to Play, I started tinkering with it while running my Dwarf Ranger deck alongside.

Obviously, there is one hero for questing, defending, and attacking. I want to get Song of Travel onto Haldir, since his resources often build up without much use.

The next song is Wisdom for Beregond to be able to get Burning Brand on him.

The first Unexpected Courage goes to Beregond, the next to Haldir.

Hopefully questing is handled by Eowyn and some ally swarming. Beregond should be able to handle defense, and then Haldir cleans up. It's especially nice if another player is picking up enemies to trigger Haldir's ability.

Cool deck! I can see how Rivendell Minstrels and Master of the Forge would both be really important for getting songs and then card draw. What's the idea behind Ethir Swordsman? They get bigger willpower as more of them hit the table, right?

Lorien Guide is a rather weak/overpriced ally. I would remove him and add some Wardens of Healing.

What's the idea behind Gondorian Fire? It boosts attack, but can't be put on Haldir (neither Gondor, nor Dunadan). And for Beregond, it doesn't make much sense.

@Marctimmins89 I believe it's here just to provide questing power. Ethir Swordsman boosts itself...so one of them by itself is for 2 resources, which is great, but then the next will boost them both to 3 , and if they're all out they'll all be 4 . Which is a great deal for 2 resources. The only drawback is that they only have 1 hit point.

to this deck:

you do not really need the discount on beregond (shield is only cost 1 and the helm, you never know if you see it at all), so i would swap the spheres of eowyn and beregond. with 2 copies of Elven-light you are not sure to see them, so the discard of eowyn is not soo much of a deal and you need the spiritres on other tasks. the benefits of spiritberegond and tacticeowyn are usable in every game.

would add 1-2 weapons (or Open the Armory ) more to get weapon +foehammer more safely. and then add some Deep Knowledge mostly your mates are fine with that.

1 song of wisdom and 2 A Burning Brand nothing to really count for. would either increase both to 3 or leave them at all. to compensate that you can put in Sterner than Steel

@allies i would swap to 2 cost-allies except the Rhovanion Outrider he is soo good.

@Marctimmins89yes, the Ethir Swordsman is just for cheap questing. Not thematic, but...

@Taurelinyou're totally right; what's missing is that I don't find much use for my Tactics resources, so this was a way to get some value out of them in games that run long.

@doomguard Looks like you found the Dwarf Ranger deck: ringsdb.com -Switching spheres sounds great; I'm going to try that soon; and your suggestions are great--I'll definitely test them out.
