In my opinion Beravor, Beregond, Denethor, Eowyn, and Glorfindel are the top five heroes in the game. Instead of making another deck that included some combination of three or four of them, I figured why not make a deck that has all five?
Try to Sneak Attack Glorfindel into the Planning Phase and play Swordthain on him. For five resources, you get a hero Glorfindel that has access to all the usual goodies of Light of Valinor, Asfaloth, and Silver Circlet, but also has the best ability of any version of Glorfindel in the game.
This is a very fun deck but also a very efficient one! I do believe it is a one deck. Anyways, I've been enjoying it so much I figured I'd share.
EDIT: I deleted and reposted this deck because the original listing had a Silver Harp when it was supposed to be a Silver Lamp.

Feb 23, 2022@Turgon If I had to guess maybe like half of time? There is 2 of each of them, and you can complete the set with Heed the Dream/Gather Information. But depending on the quest sometimes you have to save the Sneaks for Gandalf anyways. So you can always just play the ally card by passing resources to Beregond and waiting on the rest. The good thing is it's a pretty strong deck even without Glorfindel in play or using any of his cards so a lot of the time you can wait. |
Feb 23, 2022I would remove Glorfindel as a MotK hero in the deck list. It's a bit confusing since he's not brought in through that contract because BoF is already used. Love the deck though. |

Feb 23, 2022I 'd squeeze one or two Dúnedain Pipe in the deck. That way you can cycle through the deck a bit faster to find the key pieces. (likewise: no damage yet, so skip the healers and something of more use right now) On the other hand almost everything has a meaning in this deck, so J don't know.... |
Feb 24, 2022@RAiderjakk I thought it would be cool to have the five heroes listed at once to instantly let people know what the deck was trying to do. It does look a little awkward though and the 48 starting threat is a bit misleading haha. I tried to remove Glorfindel but it didn't let me. |
Feb 24, 2022@pconnors I love Swordthain. Unfortunately it's kind of a win by more card and not a win more often card so my goal was to make the most out of it and get in a "top tier" deck! |

Feb 24, 2022snowmane seems to be the spirit card to spare. you could replace it with a will of the west. if you draw that card to early, put it back with dunedain pipe. that way you can discard whatever you have at hands. anyhow, I suppose even with Bereavor and Gleowyne the card draw is not enough to 5 resources per round and an additional discard to glorfindel.... |
Feb 24, 2022replacing Beregond with Dáin Ironfoot help, to get Glorfindel into the discard and then can be played from there. but i think the threadreduction from beregond is heavily needed, right? |
Cool idea! How consistently do you get Sword-thain, Glorfindel, and Sneak Attack at the same time?
