This deck is part of a set of 13 decks, for all details check out the project here: 13 Decks Were Given to the Race of Men
Rating:
- Preferred Player Count: 3 - 4
- Complexity: Low
- Time Intensity: Medium
- Focus: Willpower
Synopsis:
This Messenger of the King deck tries to exploit Faramir's ability. It is stuffed with cheap allies, Visionary Leadership and readying attachments. The goal is to get a global +3 willpower boost with Visionary Leadership, Faramir & Wingfoot/Leather Boots. After the quest phase, your contributions will generally be very low.
How it's played:
Look for as much resource acceleration as possible in your opening hand. Take Faramir for Messenger of the King. From now on, it's just about getting as many characters in play as possible. Keep track of the cards that give a global boost, since these are the cards that determine whether your party will be medium, good or great at questing.
Strengths: Lots of willpower
Weaknesses: Everything outside of willpower.
