This is a Silvan ranged combat deck with a bit of questing and staging area control mixed in. It works best two-handed along with a deck with some dedicated or sentinel defenders.

The core strategy of the deck is beefing up Legolas and Haldir with the weapons (attacking a staging area or other player engaged enemy for 7), spamming cheap Silvan allies with O Lórien! and the various events, and drawing as much as possible.

The deck can quest pretty well on its own with Celeborn and recurring Naith Guides. You can also use Hands Upon the Bow to gain an extra quest boost if you can one shot an enemy, Black Arrow helps here. The deck lacks decent defenders but you do have 5 attack cancellation events, chump blockers, or Celeborn with Protector of Lórien in a pinch.

I would say the deck is simply above average, not overpowered, but very fun to play (until The Tree People whiffs). This deck is just made with cards that I own, so it excludes cards from Ered Mithrin for example.

with this title and not using Arrows from the Trees is a shame.....

Ah shoot, I wondered why the name seemed so familiar when I thought of it...

This looks really fun to play! Have you considered using Daeron's Runes in place of Valiant Sacrifice? It nets you one fewer card, but is cheaper and can be played immediately.

Oh man leave it to me to forget one of the best cards in the game! :) My only worry is that unlike other decks I don't feel too much of a desire to discard, there aren't a lot of uniques, for example. And Protector of Lórien sucks up a bunch of those already. I will definitely try it out though, I remember reading someone say you can make a 53 card deck if the Runes are cards 51,52, and 53. Maybe I could test out that theory.

That's a fair point. Perhaps We Are Not Idle (0 cost for 1 card) would be an alternative? That being said, if resources aren't an issue, Valiant Sacrifice may end up being the best choice for this deck after all.
