This is the deck I used to defeat Escape from Mt. Gram for my single core series.

This quest is unique because you start with one of your heroes in play and then set your threat to that hero's threat. This is really nice because you can have an expensive hero like Treebeard and not take the threat hit.
The goal of this deck is to put a lot of cards into the victory display as you rescue your allies and attachments.
Treebeard can almost win this quest by himself. Get Self Preservation, Ent Draught and Unexpected Courage on him so he can quest, take damage, and kill.
Use Resourceful and Love of Tales to help pay for the allies you find.
