Set up Strider, mulligan for Resourceful to build up on resources for hefty cost cards. Get Radagast's Staff up and throw out Eagles of the Misty Mountains. If you have enemies staying in the staging area, set yourself up with Descendant of Thorondor and throw them out for two only utilizing Radagast's Staff along with Flight of the Eagles to take them out of play, doing two damage to enemies in the staging area. Nice little trick, and it gets an Eagle of the North thrown into the encounter deck for you. If you can get a Timely Aid out before you threat past 20, you can throw out a heavy cost ally like Giant Bear or Landroval if you are lucky, saving you from having to spend resources. Daeron's Runes are nice if you have any copies of Meneldor or Wizard Pipe. Over all, a tactful deck that is fun to play with if you can afford patience and decisiveness.

I think the static effect "you loose when all your heros are defeated" happens before you can trigger a Response like Landroval one.
