strategy: this deck try to put good allies into play and boosts them. for this widfast is a good new option because the can start with a free Wild Stallion, that can boost gandalf, gimli, glorfindel, ybiar or evan a Knight of Dale

default attachement is Song of Kings (no, not Strider playing flexible with Timely Aid and A Very Good Tale is more important)

little things that help to boost gandalf more:

  • his staff
  • pipe
  • shadowfax
  • To Arms! the Wild Stallion is not only good for attributeboost, it secures, that he has a player-attachement so To Arms! can work
  • Spare Hood and Cloak
  • narya (he exhaust and can choose himself and another, with stallion, he is at 6/6
  • arwen

if all the doubleaction-allies are out they can quest and attack for 15 + stallions

Galadhrim Weaver help to get more Timely Aid or A Very Good Tale

What about a Reforged or maybe better an Erebor Hammersmith in case you ditch an important attachment to A Very Good Tale? Also, did you consider Giant Bear or Soldier of Erebor as other large non-unique allies? Though I suppose the bear isn't ideal since it can't take a Wild Stallion.

In this deck, I'd think about exchanging events for allies. How much do Courage Awakened and Defiant Challenge really do for you? Those seem like they could be cut. Maybe Spare Hood and Cloak or the Wizard Pipe as probably the weakest attachments in the lineup? Among allies, Galadriel's Handmaiden seems weakest in this deck compared to alternatives, though 3x of the Galadhrim Weaver might also be too many.

Also, Galadhrim Minstrel is a bit risky as an alternative to the weaver, as it would use up your one no-sphere match per round, but could help you fish for Timely Aid or A Very Good Tale on turn 1.

these events ready gandalf, so he can attack/defend multiple times.

weaver is cool to shufffle back a just used aid or sneack or tale. the pipe is perhaps not really needed. then i can cut bilbo too. hood is very good or additional gandalfaction. and in a diferent round where not so many enemys are there he can give it back. courage awakened is not this important.

so 3 cards to coose, 1-2 hammersmith+ 1-2 soldiers it will be. so there are only 3- attachements left for what a reorged would be helpull, then the 1-2 hammersmithes are enough i think.
