May 28, 2021his action is unlimited. you can very good determine exactly how mch willpower you have (if enough ressources are availaible). this "can" help in many situation where you want have exact results (only make the location, neither quest succesful nor quest unsuccesfull,...) he also can take some arrows. but in most cases i would only play him, if Dáin Ironfoot is at the table. |
May 28, 2021Sure it has some value, but still i'd rather play a 2 willpower ally for 3 resources instead of burning them for a one shot boost. In lore you also have so many ways to draw that you really shouldn't have resources lying around. I always find ways to spend and of you are in a long quest a map maker won't save your run. Moreover in multiples they are vado, the ability Is redundant and if you want an hp bag you can find cheaper and Better allyes then that. Even in Dain decks i do not play them because you can slot in so much better options |
May 28, 2021dont forget his cardpool. |
May 29, 2021I'm sure you can find anything to be better than that even with restrictions |
May 29, 2021Map-Maker is expensive, but I was more interested in his ability to show how the action windows can allow you to adjust willpower before finally resolving questing for a new player as The player had a ton of fun, we beat the quest and they have a much better idea of how the game can be played now, so mission accomplished! |
I would put ANYTHING really instead of the map maker: stats are so vado and the effect too expensive to be worth even 1 slot imo
