I labeled Galdor of the Havens the best card from the DreamChaser cycle. This is my attempt to prove it. His first ability lets you find what you are looking for and most likely get Glorfindel in play on turn 1. That is SUPER handy in a The Grey Wanderer deck. His second ability lets you replenish your hand after playing Glorfy, or later if that is how the cards fall.
For your set-up it is important to understand the timing. You are suppose to mulligan and then find your 1 cost attachment. The card you want to find is To the Sea, to the Sea!. However, you may get it in your opening hand. No problem, your second most important card is Song of Travel. There are 3 copies and a Rivendell Minstrel to help find it. If you happen to have both of those cards you may just want to find another copy anyway, or grab the single copy of Strider.
Other cards to keep in your first hand before you do a selective mulligan: Secrecy cards, Elrond's Counsel, Daeron's Runes, Deep Knowledge, and possibly Gléowine.
You should be able to stay in secrecy a long time, allowing you to play Timely Aid, Ithilien Lookout, and Resourceful. Remember, Timely aid must be the first card played.
Find a Song of Travel ASAP so you can start using the resources from Grey Wanderer to pull back Elven-light to help fund To the Sea, to the Sea!.
In no time you will have an army amassed and it is very likely you will empty your deck, allowing you to play Lords of the Eldar every round.
A video of this deck beating The City of Corsairs can be found here: https://youtu.be/1hlIBO5rGIQ
A live playthrough using a slightly modified version can be seen here: https://youtu.be/41RaJZlayRE
. I have also beat Nightmare Passage Through Mirkwood. Both times I had a huge army in play and got off to a very fast start.
Enjoy!
Nice deck. Here's my take on a Gray Wanderer deck, which is quite different. But I think Galdor is my favorite Gray Wanderer to date, as his opening hand and hand replenishment are crucial to the reliability a Gray Wanderer really needs in the first few turns:
